Restaurant ReBacco in Carrara

ReBacco, a RistoEnoteca

In a former Carmelite convent dating back to 1580, ReBacco, Restaurant and Wine Bar, finds its space.
Born from the passion of Nadia and Simona, this delicious restaurant offers a wide selection of wines, reinforced by an equally excellent menu, made up of seasonal products.

The menu

As often happens in Lunigiana, the Rebacco Menu respects a territory that goes from the sea to the mountain, and adapts to it.
Starting from the starters, this dualism of the products typical of the Lunigiana can be identified; you can choose between antipasti di terra, such as pecorino nibbles, ricotta, spinach and tomato passat or the bruschetta with cheese and vegetables melting, and seafood appetizers, such as tuna tartare with seasonal fruit and vegetables or sea steamer with raw vegetables.
The same dualism also accompanies the former; in fact, you can choose between mashed potatoes with blue cheese fondue and acacia honey and lasagnatte with asparagus tips and smoked goose speck; or the fish soup with crispy bread sheets and the sea-pound rice timbale.
Among the latter, the choice can fall on a fillet of beef wrapped in the lard of Colonnata or on the boar with polenta and chili peppers; or, going down towards the sea, julienne of grilled calamari, braised radicchio and reduction of balsamic or fillet of fish with tomatoes and taggiasca olives.
Finally, but not less important, among the desserts you can choose a warm bread and acacia honey pudding or a “pan-fried” Moscato d’Asti “apple flan with toasted pine nuts.
All accompanied by a vast selection of wines (more than 100 labels) for all tastes and all needs.
