Visit and tasting experience in cellars
You will visit some of the most characteristic places linked to the life of Matilde di Canossa, including the sixteenth-century cellars. This hidden place, commonly not open to visitors, will be the extraordinary setting within which to taste the excellent food and wine of the area.
You will have the opportunity to meet the Amici della Basilica volunteers and the Amici del Museo Volunteers, essential for the work they do and to allow access to some places otherwise inaccessible.
At lunch you will meet the Agrichef Cristina, owner of the Il Grappolo farmhouse, who will teach you the secrets of the rasdore (cooks) valances (such as the extraordinary fresh pasta of these lands).
The Cellars of the Monastery of San Benedetto in Polirone _ this place houses the historical-archaeological collection of the Polironiano Museum ... and do you know what else? Come and enjoy it!
