You will visit the nineteenth-century Masseria Riccardi where you will learn how to make a careful sowing, repeated cyclically as usual.
You will enter a historic Oven in Matera to learn how to make bread.
You will then reach the “Pane Cotto” restaurant for lunch, where in addition to tasting the best local products, you will have the privilege of getting to know the different craftsmen, responsible for the various productions.
You will meet Alfonso Riccardi, third generation factor, who will show his masseria.
We will meet the bakers of the San Biagio and Sasso Barisano districts, who will guide us throughout the whole baking process and will teach us the songs of the popular tradition while the bread was kneaded.
You will meet Eustachio, who will host you in his Casa Grotta (Cave House)
Pino Bruno, president of “CooperativaCittàEssenziale”, one of the most advanced experiences of social innovation in the territory, will accompany us for lunch at the "Pane Cotto" Restaurant, a unique reality, born from a project that aims to enhance the typical local products of Basilicata and to promote the territory in its social, environmental, artistic and cultural peculiarities.
